By popular demand, we are thrilled to be bringing back audience favourite, Ernie and the Sea of Ice
for Christmas 2025!
Setting off on the good ship Endurance with a brave crew, Ernie’s dream comes true – an adventure across the ice to the frozen world of Antarctica. Battling through huge seas and harsh snow storms until… crack! The ship gets stuck in the ice, leaving 28 men, 69 dogs and 1 (rather chilly) ship’s cat stranded, thousands of miles from anywhere.
How will they ever get home?
We can't wait to bring back this wonderfully silly tale of derring-do, pure determination, bravery… and penguins. Revamped and rebooted, join us to experience Ernest Shackleton’s epic expedition as you’ve never seen it before, and follow in the great explorer’s footsteps. A hilarious, heartwarming and exceptionally inventive tale for the whole family.

We are so excited to be welcoming two new faces into the Quirk family, Taylor Bond and George Williams (alongside one rather more familiar face- Simon Hall) and we know you’re going to just love them!
Taylor, George and Simon will be taking on a task almost as impossible as Shackleton’s journey across the ice: bringing to life 28 crew members, 69 dogs, a ship’s cat and a waddle* of performing penguins.
