TOY: the exhibition builds
Our young photographers have been hard at work over the last week snapping gorgeous portraits of Exeter residents and their cuddly companions.
Highlights of the TOY stories so far have included:
"My Mum knitted his jumper just a couple of years ago to hide his now-patchy fur!"
"I left her on a rock on Dartmoor :( she got soaked!"
"He was sent from Canada from my Dad's ex-girlfriend much to the annoyance of my Mother. She still hasn't got over it and she's now in her 80s..."
"I would love to pass him on to our child, if we ever have one :)"
Out of these portraits, 10 will be chosen to be on display at the Exeter Phoenix Walkway Gallery in November and December, alongside our show, and then in CoLab in January 2020. A final 11th portrait will be selected from a competition for our audiences... so watch this space... and get your selfie stick ready...
We have our final portrait session this Saturday at CoLab. And then - the difficult task of choosing only 10!
Wish us luck!
